Title: Instructional designer
Term: Up to 3 months to begin mid-January 2012

NOTE: Qualified candidates will have proven instructional design and test writing skills based on the higher cognitive processing levels of Bloom’s taxonomy (analysis, evaluation, synthesis, decision making). For this assignment, candidates will initially be responsible for developing assessments to support existing content and previously identified performance objectives.
ROLE:
- Designs and develops instructional materials and assessments based on higher levels of Bloom’s taxonomy.
- Greatest focus will be on developing assessments that will help to determine trainee knowledge and ability to perform required on the job tasks.
- This project is to support training and test development for MAS Philippines project.
Has the ability to develop new instructional materials from analysis through evaluation. Also has strong ability to write scenario based assessments for existing training content. Is able to work with this existing content and previously identified performance objectives to develop assessments that test minimally at Bloom’s application level, but also at the analysis, evaluation, and synthesis levels.
Education and Certification Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree required
2. Preferred major area of concentration – Instructional Design/ Training/Education/Communication
3. Previous experience both in instructional and test development preferred
Ability to write valid test questions given previously identified learning domains; review existing content to identify job-related related performances; work closely with subject matter experts.
